My very good friend and Wisconsin Neighbor flew down to help me for a week and we have accomplished SO MUCH! It’s been non stop shopping and crafting and designing and decorating!
We have an AMAZING outdoor pub height table in the lanai now and artwork on many of the walls. There’s an INCREDIBLE headboard on the master bed and a whimsical palm tree in the bunkhouse.
I’ve been getting lots of interest on VRBO which is great but I’ve been delaying them all until I felt like I was getting close. We are seriously considering a roof replacement so we may need to stay longer to accomplish that. We are really hoping it’s ready to go July 1st though!
My friend goes home today but we are hoping to find curtains and bedding before she goes to the airport so that will help the rooms get a more finished feeling.
I created a new list today of each room by room with what needs to be done. It’s CRAZY how much we’ve accomplished and yet how there are still pages of things to do I will never understand!?!
Wow, wow, wow it’s starting to look finished and I may be seeing the finish line on the horizon.
